Genira 6x30

Von der Rathenower Optikerfirma "Gebrüder Nitschke" kommt dieses 6x30 Porro-1-Monokular. Es ist komplett aus Aluminium – nur 147g – und das Gehäuse hat eine anthrazit-farbene Rauhlackummantelung. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff. Da die Optik noch unvergütet ist, wurde das Glas vor dem 2. Weltkrieg gefertigt. Der obere, zweifach verschraubte deckel ist mit "Genira 6x30" (Abk. f. GEbrüder NItschke RAthenow) beschriftet, die Dioptrieneinstellung ist nur mit 0, + und - markiert.

Made by the Rathenow optical company "Gebrüder Nitschke" (Nitschke Brothers) this porro 1 monocular is made completely pf aluminium, thus only weighing 147g. The housing is covuered with some anthracite coloured crinkle paint. The eyecup is made of plastic. As the optics are still uncoated the glass must date from before WWII. The top cover plate has two screws and is marked "Genira 6x30" (Abnr. f. "GEbrüder NItschke RAthenow"). The dioptre adjustment is only marked with 0, + and -.

Das Genira 6x30 ist 118-122mm lang, 48x48mm oben und 52x52mm unten am Gehäuse breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 33mm, das linksseitige Okular 24mm, der Fokussierungsring 27mm und die Augenmuschel 31,5mm im Durchmesser.

The "Genira 6x30" is 118-122mm tall,the body 48x48mm at its top and 52x52mm at its bottom. The objective frame mhas a 33mm diameter, thje left-hand sided ocular one of 24mm, the focusing ring one of 27mm, and the eyecup is 31.5mm in diameter.
