MP 8x25 Monocular

Dieses 8x25 Porro-1-Prismenmonokular trägt die kyrilissche Bezeichnung "MP 8x25" (MP evtl. für Monokular Prismatisch) und stammt somit aus russischer Fertigung. Ein Produktionsjahr lässt sich nicht ermitteln, dem Anschein nach könnte es aus den 70er bis 90er Jahren stammen. Das metallene Prismengehäuse ist aus zwei unterschiedlich grau lackierten Teilen zusammengeschraubt. Am Okularseitigem Teil ist ein Plastik-Trageriemen angeschraubt. Es ähnelt einem Parallelogramm mit abgerundeten Kanten und Ecken (vgl. Vivitar 5x16.). Die blau vergütete Okular- und Objektivlinsen werden in angeschraubten Kunststofffassungen gehalten. Mit einem Kunststoffdrehring wird am Okular die Fokussierung erreicht, indem mittels eines Spiralnut das Okularlisnensystem verschoben wird. Durch die Kontsruktion wird eine Einhandbedienung möglich.

The ocular sided piece has a screwed on strap lug with a plastic strap. The housing resembles a parallelogram with rounded edges and corners (cf. Vivitar 5x16.). The blue coated lenses are settled in plstic frames. The focussing is done with a knurled plastic ring, whereas the ocualr lens system is moved by means of a spiralling groove. This construction allows a one-handed use.
