Monocular Prismatic 1A MK I
| Hier ist ein Porroprismenmonokular des britischen Militärs ca. um den 1. Weltkrieg herum hergestellt. Es trägt die Bezeichnungen "Monocular Prismatic No. 1A.Mk I" sowie die Produktionsnummer "1139 R" auf dem oberen Deckel, und die gleiche Bezifferung auf dem unteren Deckel, wo auch der "broad arrow" und eine Römische 1 eingraviert sind. Anhand der Markierungen lässt es sich als ein 6x25 Monokular identifizieren. Auffallend ist das recht große Okularstück. | This is a pooro prism monocular for the British Army made about WWI. It is marked "Monocular Prismatic No. 1A.Mk I" and with production number "1139 R" on the top cover. The bottom cover has the same number markings as well as the "broad arrow" and a Roman I. The inscriptions tell us that it is a 6x25 glass. The eyepiece is quite large. |
