monolux 7x50 "Universe"

Dieses 7x50 Monokular mit Porro-I-Prismen wurde in Japan gefertigt. Dem Herstellerlogo am unteren Deckel kann ich bislang keiner Firma zuordnen. Der obere Deckel ist mit "MONOLUX 7x50 COATED - Field 7.1° No. 173739" beschriftet. Die Optiken sind also vergütet (blau) und das Sehfeld beträgt 7,1°. Der Deckel ist außerdem mit einem stilisierten Globus mit Breitengraden und Äquator bedruckt; um die Weltkugel liegt ein Ring mit der Modellbezeichnung "Universe". Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff. Der Dioptrienausgleich reicht von +2 bis -4. Das Gehäuse ist schwarz lackiert und mit Rauhlack ummantelt.

This 7x50 Monocular with a porro I system was made in Japan. I cannot yet match The logo at the bottom cover with a producer name. The top cover is marked "MONOLUX 7x50 COATED - Field 7.1° No. 173739". So the optics are coated (blue). The cover is also inscribed with a outlined globe with latitudes and equator – the globe is surrounded by a ring with the model name "Universe". The eye-cup is made of plastic. The dioptre adjustment ranges from +2 to -4. The housing is painted black and has a rough covering.

Das Glas ist 416g schwer. Der Objektivtubus misst vorne 62mm, am Gehäuseansatz 51mm. Hingegen ist das Okular 30mm und am Drehring 35mm im Durchmesser. Das Prismengehäuse ist oben 61x61mmm und unten 66x68mm breit bei einer Höhe von 85mm. Die Gesamtlänge des Monokulars variiert zwischen 17 und 17,8cm.

The glass wieghs 416g. The objective tube is 62mm at its outer end and 51mm at its beginning, whereas the ocular measures 30mm and 35mm at its knurled ring respectively. The prism body is 61x61mm at its top and 66x68mm at its bottom in width, its height being 85mm. The monocular's overall length is variies between 17cm and 17.8cm.
