Monokular 8x30 mit SchraubdeckelnDies ist ein 8x30 Porro-1-Monokular mit einer Ummatnelung aus strukturiertem Lackpapier. Das Gehäuse ist aus Aluminium, das Okular inklusive Augenmuschel aus schwarz lackiertem Messing. Als Besonderheit hat das Glas Extra-Deckel, die ohne Entfernen des Okulars oder Objektivs abschraubbar sind, da sie als Teildeckel neben diesen angebracht sind. Dadurch lassen sich die Deckel leicht entfernen und die Prismen putzen und ggf. justieren. Die Prismen sind ebenfalls mit Lackpapier ummantelt, um Streulciht abzuhalten.Ähnliche Deckelbauformen finden sich bei französichen Gläsern. Ggf. ist also das Monokular aus französicher, aber auch ggf. englischer Fertigung (s. z.B. Trageriemenöse am Deckelrand). Die Konstruktionsweise, das durch Aufschrauben der Augenmsuchel das Okularlisnensystem in der Okularhülse gehalten wird ist ebenfalls recht typisch für Gläser aus Frankreich. |
Monocular 8x30 with quick screw off coversThis is a porro 1 moncoular with atextured paper covering. The body is made of alumium, the eyepiece including the eyecup is made of black painted brass. A special feature of this glass is extra cover plates aside off the ocular and objective which let them be screwed taken off more easily. Thus the prisms can be cleanrd or adjusted without dismanteling the whole monoculöar.The prisms are also covered with black paper to keep off stray light.Similar cover plates can be found with French glasses. So this one might be made in france or probably also in Britain (s. protruding strap lug within the cover plate rim). A furhter chracteristic hints at a French made glass. the eyecup holds the ocular lens system in the ocular tube. |
