Lunascope 15x40

Das "Lunascope" wurde in Japan hergestellt, vermutlich in den 60er Jahren zur Zeit der NASA-Apollo-Missionen, da es in seiner Bauweise auch wie eine Rakete mit 4 Stufen und Kapsel aussieht. Die Optik ist blau vergütet. Der Aluminium-Tubus ist silbergrau lackiert. Das Okularstück ist aus schwarz lackiertem Metall. Am mittleren geraden Tubusteil ist die Modellbezeichnung "LUNASCOPE" vertikal blau aufgedruckt. Der obere leicht konische Teil ist zum Okular mit "FOCUS" und Pfeil zum Okularstück hin sowie unten mit "15x40m/m SUPER OPTICS JAPAN" blau beschriftet. Links und rechts von "Japan" befindet sich jeweils eine Raute mit den Buchstaben "SYW" bzw. "TOK" ("TJK"? Schrift teilweise abgekratzt).

The "Lunascope" was made in Japan, probably in the 1960s when NASA had their Apollo missions, as its design resembles a rocket with four stages an a capsule. The optics are coated blue. The aluminium tube is lacquered silvery-grey. The eyepiece ismade of ablack paitned metal. The straigth middle part of the tube is vertically marked with the model blue name "LUNASCOPE". The upper slightly conical part is inscribed "FOCUS" having an arrow pointing to the black ocular as well as being marked "15x40m/m SUPER OPTICS JAPAN" at the bottom. To the left and right of the "Japan" script is a diamond shape with letters "SYW" and "TOK" ("TJK"? letters are scratched partly) respectively.

Das kleine terristrische Teleskop hat die Werte 15x40, wiegt 351g und ist 30cm lang. Der Tubus verbreitert sich vom Okular- zum Objektivteil von 20mm auf 54mm.

This little terrestical telescope has 15x40 specifications, weighs 351g, and measures 30cm in length. The tube diamerter increases from the 20mm ocular to a 54 objective frame.
