Lemaire Offiziersglas

Der monokulare Feldstecher von "Lemaire Fabt Paris" ist aus Messing gefertigt und hat eine schwarze Lederummantelung. Am Auszugstubus ist der "broad arrow", das Zeichen für Britische Militärgläser, eingraviert. Der Haupttubus hat oben eine Trageöse.
Derartige Gläser wurde bis zum Ende des 1. Weltkrieg produziert und genutzt. Aufgrund des makellosen Zustandes wirkt das teil nicht unbedingt wie ein Original, sondern ist möglicherweise eine Reproduktion.

Lemaire Officer's Field-Glas

This monocular field glass by "Lemaire Fabt Paris" is made of brass with a black leather covering. The brass draw bears the 'broad arrow', the sign of British military glasses. The main tube has got a lug.
Such glasses were produced and used till the end of WWI. The flawless condition of this item lets me assume that htis may not be a original but a reproduction.

Das Offiziersglas hat ca. eine 7fache Vergößerung und ein 49mm Objektiv. Es wiegt 248g. Die Länge ist zusammengeschoben 13,2cm und ausgezogen 16,8cm. Die beschriftete Messing-Augenmuschel hat einen Durchmesser von 37mm, die breiteste Stelle des Haupttubus' 56mm. The officer'S glass has a 7 times magnification and a 49mm objective. It weighs 248g. Its length is 13.2cm recessed and 16.8 extended. The labeled brass eye-cup is 37mm, and the widest part of the tube is 56mm in diameter.
