Leitz "Monacht" 8x60

Das 8x60 "Monacht" Monokular von Leitz – aufgrund der magenta-farbenen Vergütung ein Nachkriegsexemplar – ist wie alle Porro-I-Modelle aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium mit einer Rauhlackummantelung, hat zweifach verschraubte Deckel und einen konischen Objektivtubus sowie eine Trageriemenöse am Gehäuse. Die Seriennummer am oberen Deckel unter dem Leitz-Logo ist 530374. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Gummi und lässt sich zurückklappen. Der Dioptrienausgleich ist mit + und - 5 gekennzeichnet. Die Länge ist 20,7 - 21 cm je nach Okulareinstellung. Das Gehäuse ist 62x62mm bzw. 68x68mm breit (oben bzw. unten), der Objektivtubus verbreitert sich von 53 auf 73mm. Der Okulardurchmesser ist 36mm. Das Gwicht ist 563g.

The 8x60 "Monacht" Monocular by Leitz just like many porro I models is made of black painte aluminium with a crinkle paint covering, has covers with two screws, a conical objective tube and a cast-in strap lug. Because of the magenta coating it must be a post-war model – its serial number is 530374, located at the top cover below the Leitz logo. The rubbber eye-cup is foldable for spectacle wearers. The dioptre adjustment ranges from + to - 5. The length of the monocular is between 20.7 and 21 cm depending on ocular adjustment. The prism housing measures 62x62mm at its top and 68x68mm at its bottom. The objective tube starts with a diameter of 53 and broadens to a 73mm end ring. The ocular' diameter is 36mm. The glass weighs 563g.
