Lafayette 6x30

Das Lafayette Photo-Monokular stammt aus japanischer Herstellung und hat dementsprechend am unteren Deckel ein japanisches Herstellerlogo und den Aufdruck "Japan". Der obere Deckel ist mit "Lafayette 6x30 Photo Monocular No. 2965" beschriftet. Das 35mm dicke Metallokular und -augenmuschel hat eine gelb gefärbte Linse. Die 40mm Objektivfassung ist ebenfalls schwarz lackiert und hat eine blau vergütete Linse. Die Scharfeisntellung erfolgt am Objektiv, welches auch mit einer Entfernungsskala in Fuß von 20 bis unendlich markiert ist. Die Innenseite des Objektivrahmens ist mit "Lafayette AUX Telephoto" beschriftet. Bei Abschrauben des Überwurfrings lässt sich ein zusätzlicher 35mm Filter etc. (= AUXiliary) einschrauben.

The Lafayette Photo Monocular was made in Japan and is thus marked with a Japanes maker's logo and "Japan". The upper cover plate is inscribed "Lafayette 6x30 Photo Monocular No. 2965". The 35mm metal ocular and eyecup has a yellow tinted lens. The 40mm objective tube is also paitned black and has a blue coated lens. Focusing is done at the objective which is marked with a distance adjustment scale ranging from 20 feet to infinity. The inner side of the objective frame is marked "Lafayette AUX Telephoto". When you unscrew the retainer ring you can attch and additional filter or auxiliary part.

Das Monokular ist 125 - 130mm lang, oben 51x51 und unten 58x58mm am Gehäuse breit. Der geriffelte Okularring ist 38mm, der des Objektives 46mm im Durchmesser. Für beide Linsen gibt es Plastikschutzkappen sowie eine Reisverschlusstransporttasche.

The monocular is 125 - 130mm tall, the housing measures 51x51mm at its top and 58x58mm at its bottom. The grooved ocular ring has a 38mm diameter, the one of the objective tube has a 46mm diameter. There are two lens caps and a zippered carrying case.
