BBT Krauss 8x30

Das 8x30 Monokular ist ein Nachkriegsmodell von BBT-Krauss mit violetter Vergütung und Porro-1-System. Beide Deckel sind einfach verschraubt und schwarz lackiert. Der obere Deckel ist mit "BBT Krauss" im Firmenlogo, darunter "France", der untere mit "M301-20 - 211959" im Logo und darunter "8x30" beschriftet. Das Gehäuse hat eine anthrazit-farbene Rauhlackummantelung. Die Augenmuschel fehlt. Es gibt anstelle desssen einen silbernen Adapterring, möglicherweise zum Anbringen an einem Kameraobjektiv. Die umlaufende Dioptrienskala ist mit Null, +5 und -5 gekennzeichnet.

The 8x30 monocular is a post-war BBT-Krauss model with violet coating and porro 1 system. both cover plates are painted black and have one screw. The top cover is marked "BBT Krauss" within the maker's logo, below "France", the bottom cover is marked "M301-20 - 211959" within the logo and below "8x30". The housing has an anthracite coloured textured finish. The eyecup is missing. In its place is a silver adapter ring, probably to be attached to a camera objective. The dioptre scale runs fully around the ocular and is marked at 0, +5 and -5.
