BBT Krauss 10x32 Monocular

Das 10x30 ist mit dem "BBT Krauss-Logo" sowie "France" auf dem oberen Deckel und mit "M. 301.20" darunter durch eine Strich getrennt "5118" am unteren Deckel beschriftet. Das "M." weist möglicherweise auf einen Einsatz beim Militär hin. Das Monokular ist aus Messing und Alu gefertigt, ist schwarz lackiert und mit Rauhlack ummantelt; das Okular ist aus Kunststoff, die braune Augenmuschel ggf. aus Bakelit. Der Dioptrienausgleich geht von + bis - 5. Das Gehäuse misst 53x53mm oben bzw. 55x55mm unten, bei einer Gesamtlänge von 113mm und einem Gewicht von 307g. Die Optik ist unvergütet. Das Glas stammt vermutlich aus der Zeit des 2. Weltkrieges.

The monocular was made of brass and aluminium with black lacquering and a rough paint covering. The plastic ocular has a +/+5 dioptre scale and a brown eye-cup, probably made of Bakelite. The body measures 53x53mm at the top and 55x55mm at the bottom, having an overall length of 113mm and weighing 307g. The optics are uncoated. So the galss may date from before or around the 2nd World War.
