Kenko 7x35 "Prisman" Tele-Monocular

Von der japanischen Firma Kenko stammt dieses 7x35 Prismenmonokular in Bausch & Lomb-Bauweise. Der obere Deckel ist mit einem erhabenem und gelb gefüllten Oval und dem Firmennamen "Kenko" beschriftet, darunter steht "Prisman 7", "7x35 10°", ein japanisches Zeichen und Nummer 38898. Der Deckelrand hat eine drehbare Trageöse, in die mit einem Karabinerhaken eine Handschlaufe eingehakt ist. Der Aluminiumdeckel, Okular- und Objektivteile sind schwarz lackiert, das Gehäuse hat eine anthrazit-farbene strukturierte Oberfläche. Die Linsen haben eine leicht gelbliche Vergütung. Da das Prisman 7 zur Verwendung als Teleobjektiv mit einer Kamera gedacht ist, kann das Kunststoff-Okular soweit herunter gedereht werden bis ein 26mm Gewinde für einen Kamera-Adapterring freigelegt ist. Der vorhandene Adapterring hat ein Außengewinde für ein 52mm-Objektiv der Kamera. Das Monokular wird an der Objektivseite fokussiert. Dafür ist eine Skala von 2,1m bzw. 7 Fuß bis unendlich gekennzeichnet. Ein weiterer Zwischenring mit silberem Zierring ist mit "Japan Wide Angle Exiit Pupil 5mm" beschriftet, wobei die Angabe der Austrittspupille mit den Werten 7x Vergrößerung und 35mm Objektiv korrespondiert. Wiederum daran kann ein Makrolinse (bläuliche Vergütung) aufgeschraubt werden, die den Schärfebereich bis auf 50cm reduziert. Sie ist mit "Kenko Prisman 7 (japanisches Zeichen) P.X #1" markiert.

The Japnes maker Kenko produced this 7x35 prism monocular with B&L design. The top cover plate is marked with an yellow oval with maker'S name, below "Prisman 7", then "7x35 10°", a Japanes sign, and finally number 38898. The cover rim is supplied with a turnable strap lug. A carabiner hooks a hand strap to it. All metal parts are lacquered black. The housing has a textured anthracite finish. The lenses have a faint yellow coating. As the Prisman 7 is intended also as a photo-telelens, you can turn down the ocular until a thread for screwing on an 26mm camera adapter ring is usable. The adapter rin has a 52mm thread for the camera objective. The monocular focuses a the objective end. So, this focusing part is marked with a meter and feet scale starting at 2.1m/7 ft. and stopping and infinity. At the objective thread a further intermediate ring with a silver band can be screwed in. It is marked "Japan Wide Angle Exiit Pupil 5mm". The exit pupil data corresponds with the 7 times power and 35mm objective diameter. Finally a macro lens (blue coating) can be fitted to the intermediate ring, thus achieving a near focus distance of 50cm. The lens is marked "Kenko Prisman 7 (Japanese sign) P.X #1".

Die Augenmuschel ist 44mm, der Okulartubus 32mm, der Objektivtubus 48mm, der Fokussierungsring am Objektiv 54mm und die Fassung der Makrolinse 57mm im Durchmesser. Das Monokular ist zwishcen 127 und 145mm ohne und 137 und 155mm mit Makrolinse lang. Der halbrunde oder ovale Deckel ist 57x77mm breit. Das Prisman 7 wiegt 436g,

The monocular measures between 127-145mm without, and bewteen 137 and 155mm with macro lens. The semi-circular or oval cover plate is 57x77mm wide. The Prsiman 7 weighs 436g.
