Vom 8.-11.10.2011 trafen sioch die Fernglas-Enthusiasten in Jena. Neben Stadt- und Sternwartenbesichigungen, gab es viele Vorträge über die Fa. Goerz, Nachkriegsmodelle von VEB Zeiss Jena, Vergleiche zu Zeiss Zeleater-Modellen und Varianten anderer Firmen, über die Frage, ob es genutzt hätte, wenn die Auzsgucke auf der Titanic Ferngläser gehabt hätten, Informationen zu "Swarovski" und "Kern Aarau" Optiken u.v.a.m. Man war zu Gast im Optischen Museum Jena und bei Zeiss im Gebäude. | From 8th to 11th October 2011 the binocular enthusiasts met again in Jena. Besides city walks and visits to bservatories there wer many speeches held on the Goerz company, post-war models by VEB Zeiss Jena, comparisons of Zeiss Teleater models and similar developments by other firms, about the question whether the Titanic would not have sunk if the look-outs had had binocualrs, and there were information on Swarovski and Kern Aarau optics as well as many other papers.
