Hunsicker 8x30

Dieses 8x30 Porro-1-Prismen-Monokular stammt aus der Zeit zwischen den Weltkriegen und zeichnet sich durch die Geradeführung des rechtseitigen Okulars beim Fokussieren aus. Das Gehäuse hat eine strukturierte Kunststoffummantelung, die dreifach verschraubten Messingdeckel sind schwarz lackiert und die Augenmuschel ist aus Plastik.
Das 8x30 ist 120-128mm lang, das Gehäuse oben 56x56mm und unten 59x61mm breit. Die objektivfassung ist 38mm, das Okularstück 26mm, der Fokussierungsteil 32mm und die Augenmuschel 37,5mm im Durchmsser. Es wiegt 346g.
This 8x30 porro 1 prism monocular dates from between the Wars. It features a right-hand sided ocular with linear movement. The housing has a textured plastic covering. The cover plates with three screws are made of brass and lacquered black. The eyecup is made of plastic as well.
The 8x30 is 120 - 128mm long, the houusing is 56x56mm wide at its top and 59x61mm wide at its bottom. The objective tube is 38mm. the eyepiece 26mm, the focusing part 32mm, and the eyecup 37.5mm in diameter. The glass wieghs 346g.

Die Leder-Transporttasche ist auf dem Deckel mit "Case No I or Ia Prismatic Monocular (Mk 6)" sowie mit der Herstellerfirma Timbers, der Jahreszahl 1931 und dem broad arrow geprägt. Per Hand wurde noch "97968" eingeritzt. Die Innenseite des Deckels ist mit der Besitzerangabe "P.R. Smith", dann durchgestrichen "3 Hillfield Av. Hornsey N.8." und als letzte Adresse "Twelve Acre (C?) Bookham 5Y KT23" beschriftet. The leather case has the following markings on its lid: stamped outside "Case No I or Ia Prismatic Monocular (Mk 6)", the maker "Timbers", date "1931" and a 'broad arrow' – manually scratched number "97968"; written inside "P.R. Smith", stoken out "3 Hillfield Av. Hornsey N.8." and last address "Twelve Acre (C?) Bookham 5Y KT23".
