Huet "Trinotix" 8x30

Das "Trinotix" 8x30 Porro-1-Monokular müsste 1925 (oder um 1930) hergestellt worden sein. Zwar hat der obere Deckel keine Firmenbezeichnung, aber die Angaben sind im typischen Huet-Logo: "Tronitix - 8x30 | 8°30". Unter dem Logo steht "MLE 1925 MILLIEMES". Es ist zu vermuten, dass sich die Modellzahl auf das JAhr bezieht, während 'milliemes' für die 1000stel Strichtteilung steht. Die Strichplatte ist nicht mehr vorhanden, ein gerillter Drehring am Okular ist dafür allerdings vorhanden. Das Messing-Aluminium-Monokular hat eine Lederummantelung, eine Trageriemenöse und eine Bakelitaugenmuschel. Das Objektiv hat eine Exzenterjustierung. Die Dioptrienskala reicht von plus bis minus Fünf. Viele der Eigenschaften sprechen für ein militärisches Modell.

The "Trinotix" 8x30 is a porro 1 monocular. It dates from around 1930, probably 1925 (see below). Although the top cover does not carry the maker's name, the specifications are written within the Huet logo: "Trinotix - 8x30 | 8°30". Below the logo it says "MLE 1925 MILLIEMES". The model number 1925 probably refers to the date, wheras 'milliemes' stands for the 1/1000 reticle devision. The reticle is not in place any more, but a knurled ring at the eyepiece must have been intended to turn the reticle inside. The monocular is made of aluminium and brass. The housing has a leather covering and a strap lug. The objective lens is mounted with excentric rings for adjustmnet. The eyepice has a Bakelite eyecup and is marked with a +/-5 dioptre scale. Most of these features suggest that this 8x30 is a military glass.

Das 8x30 ist 110-115mm lang, das Gehäuse ist oben 51x51mm und unten 59x59mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 42mm, das Okularstück 31mm, der Fokussierungsring 36mm, die Augenmuschel 34mm und der Stichplatten-Drehring 35mm im Durchmesser. Das Gewicht ist 341g.
