Huet "Miralux" 8x30

Das Nachkriegsmodell "Miralux" 8x30 ist am oberen Deckel mit dem Huet-Logo "Mono Miralux" und "No 153553" beschriftet. Der untere Deckel hat das Logo (Sonne mit F in einem Dreieck), wie es bei "Aquilius" Monokularen auftaucht (s. dort). Am oberen Deckelrand ist es weiterhin mit "Made in France" gekennzeichnet. Es war daher möglicherweise für den Export vorgesehen. Es ist blau vergütet. Die zweifach verschraubten Messingdeckel sind schwarz lackiert. Das Gehäuse hat eine eingegossene Trageriemenöse und eine Kunstlederummantelung. Die Augenmuschel am linksseitigem Okular ist aus braunem Kunsstoff. Die Dioptrienskala läuft komplett um den Ring und ist bei +5 und -5 beschriftet.

This post-war model "Miralux" 8x30 is marked with the Huet logo as well as "Mono Miralux" and "No 153553" on the top cover. The lower cover bears the logo used on Aquilius monoculars (a sun with an F on one ray within a triangle; cf. Aquilius). Furthermore, it is marked "Made in France" on the upper cover rim. Hence it may have been made as an export model. It is coated blue. The black painted brass cover plates have two screws. The body has a cast-in strap lug and a fake leather covering. The left-hand sided eyepiece has a brown plastic eyecup and a full dioptre scale marked at +/-5.

Das Miralux ist 118-123mm lang, das Gehäuse ist oben 55x55mm und unten 58x58mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 42mm, das Okular ist 29,5mm, der Fokussierungsteil 37mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser. Das Glas wiegt 338g.
