Hensoldt 6x26 Penta-Monocle
| Das 6x26 Modell der zwischen 1903 und 1904 von Hensoldt gebauten Pentaprismengläser mit runder Schulter (5. Modellreihe) hat ein Vollgussgehäuse aus Aluminium mit aufgespritztem Lack bzw. Emaille. Die Trageriemenöse ist mit drei Schrauben angeschraubt. Der Überwurfring am Objektivende lässt sich abschrauben und so der Prismenstuhl entnehmen. Das linksseitige Okular hat eine 2/3 Bakelitaugenmuschel und eine komplett umlaufende Dioptrienskala mit Markierungen bei Null und plus/minus Fünf. Das Okularstück, die Trageöse und der Überwurfring sind aus Messing. Die seitliche Beschriftungsplatte ist mit "Hensoldt Wetzlar D.R.P. Vergr=6x" gekennzeichnet. | The 6x26 model of the penta-prism glasses with a round shoulder made by Hensoldt between 1903 and 1904 (5th series) has an aluminium body cast in one piece covered with sprayed-on lacquer or enamel respectively. The strap lug is screwed on with three screws. The lock ring at the objective end can be screwed off, and then allows the prism chair to be taken out. The left-hand sided eyepiece has a 2/3 Bakelite eyecup and a full dioptre scale. It is marked with zero, plus and minus five. The eyepiece, the strap lug and the lock ring are made of brass. The name plate is mmarked "Hensoldt Wetzlar D.R.P. Vergr=6x". |
| Das Penta-Monocle ist 12-12,5 cm lang und das Gehäuse ist oben 52x32 mm und unten 53x47 breit. Der Überwurfring misst 45 mm, die Objektivfassung 34 mm im Durchmesser. Das Okularstück ist 18 mm, der Dioptrienring 21 mm und die Augenmuschel 33 mm im Durchmesser. Es wiegt 235g. | The Monocle is 12-12.5 mm long. The hosuing measures 52x32 mm at its top and 53x47 mm at its bottom. The retainer ring is 45 mm and the objective frame is 34 mm in diameter. The eyepeice is 18 mm, the dioptre ring 21 mm, and the eyecup 33 mm in diamtter. It weighs 235g. |
