Goerz Berlin-Wien 8x38

Das nur mit Firmenlogo beschriftete 8x38 (gemessen: 39mm) Monokular entspricht den "größeren Brüdern" der Modellreihe "Helinox" mit längerem Objektivstutzen. Da es keine Modelbezeichnung, keiner Vergrößerungsangabe oder Seriennummer als Kennzeichnung gibt, könnte es sich auch um die professionell nachbearbeitete linke Hälfte eines Binokular handeln. Die Lederstruktur der Ummantelung am Gehäuse und an den Tuben ist zumindest auch unterschiedlich. Die Modelle sind im Grunde ansonsten baugleich. Der Dioptrienausgleich reicht von + bis - 8 und ist bei 0 und 5 markiert.
Das Monokular ist 148-160mm lang je nach Okulareinstellung. Das Gehäuse ist unten 50x51mm und oben 54x56mm dick. Das Okularstück ist 24mm, der Fokussierungsring 30mm, der konische Tubus zunächst 40mm, dann 44mm und der gerade Objektivtubus 46mm im Durchmesser. Das 8x38 wiegt 345g.
The 8x38 (measured 39mm) monocular is only inscribed with the Goerz logo. Its design is the same as the other "bigger brothers " of this "Helinox" series with longer objective tubes. As it comes with no model markings, optical data or serial number, it might also only a professional reworking of a left half of a binocualr. The leather texture of of the coverings on the hosuing and tubes are different at least. Else, the mdoels are basically of the same construction. The dioptre adjsutment ranges from + to - 8 and is marked at 0 and 5.
