Goerz Triëder Monocle 16x40 "Helinox"

Das Triëder Monocle "Helinox" von Goerz Berlin mit höchster Vergrößerung ist das 16x40 (s. Bild mit Vergleich 8x, 12x, 16x). Mit der Seriennmmer 275020 müsste es von ca. 1913 stammen. Der Vorgänger von 1908 war ein 16x38 Modell. Auf dem oben schwarz lackierten Messngdeckel befindet sich neben den andern Angaben das Goerz Prismenlogo. Die Augenmuschel am rechtsseitigem Okular fehlt. Das Alugehäuse und die beiden Objektivtubusstücke sind mit Leder ummantelt. Die Dioptrienskala reicht geht von plus bis minus 10 und ist bei Null und jeweils fünf markiert. Die Deckel sind zweifach verschraubt. Es gibt eine Trageriemenöse.

Having serial number 275020 the monocular dates from about 1913. The 1908 forerunenr was a 16x38 model. There is the Goerz prism logo on the upper brass cover plate. It is painted black and has two screws. The eyecup on the right-hand sided eyepiece is missing. The aluminium body and the two objective tube parts are covered with leather. The dioptre scale ranges from plus to minus 10, and it is marked at zero and five. The cover paltes have two screws. There is a cast-in strap-lug.

Das Glas wiegt 351g. Es ist 134-140mm lang. Der konische Tubus verbreitert sich von 41 auf 45mm im Durchmesser, der gerade Objektivtubus ist 48mm im Durchmesser. Das Gehäuse misst oben 50x50mm und untern 58x58mm. Das Okularstück ist 24mm und der Fokussierungsring 32mm im Durchmesser.

The glass weighs 351g and is 134-140mm long. The conical tube increase from 41 to 45mm in diameter. The straight objective frame is 48mm in diameter. The housing measures 50x50mm at its top and 58x58mm at its bottom. The eyepiece is 24mm, and the focusing ring 32mm in diameter.
