Goerz Marinefernrohr "Pernox" 15x45

Aus der Görz-Modellserie "Pernox", die sich durch die Möglichkeit auszeichnet, den Prismenstuhl von oben bei abgeschraubten Decckel herauszunehmen, während der untere fest mit dem Gehäuse gegossen wurde, stammt dieses Marinefernrohr 15x45. Das Gehäuse und der Objektivtubus sind mit Rauhlack ummantelt. Der obere nierenförmige Deckel hat drei Schrauben und ist mit "Marinefernrohr 15x C.P. Goerz Berlin D.R.P." im Bogen beschriftet. Das rechtseitige Okular hat eine Geradführung beim Fokussieren. Das Okular hat eine Bakelitaugenmuschel und eine umlaufende Dioptrienskala mit Markierungen bie +5, 0 und -5. Die Gehäuseunterseite ist gerade. Es gibt keine Trageriemenöse. Das Baujahr müsste um 1905 liegen.

This is a "Marinefernrohr 15x45" (Naval Telescope) from the Goerz "Pernox" model type. The Pernox main characteristic is that you can take out the whole prism cage from above after unscrewing the top cover plate, whereas the bottom and the housing is cast in one poiece. The housing and objective tube are covered with crinkle paint. The kidney-shaped top cover has three screws and marked "Marinefernrohr 15x C.P. Goerz Berlin D.R.P.", following the bowed contour of the cover. The right-hand sided ocualr has a linear movement while focusing. It has a Bakelite eyecup and a dioptre scale from + to - 5 running all around the ocular tube. The bottom of the housimng is flat. There is no strap lug. The production date should be around 1905.

Das Marinefernrohr ist 33,8cm bis 34,8cm bis 34,8cm lang, mit ausgezogener Sonnenblende 38,3cm. Das Prismgehäuse ist 7cm hoch und 78x60mm breit. Der Objektivtubus ist ca. 19cm lang und vebreitert sich von einem 47mm auf 60mm Durchmesser. Das 15x45 wiegt 955g.

The telescope is 33.8cm - 34.8cm in length, or with extended sun-shade 38.3cm. The prism housing is 7cm tall and 78x60cm wide. the objective tube is about 19cm in length and increases from 47mm to 60mm in diameter. The 15x45 weighs 955g.
