Goerz Wien 6x25

Das 6x25 Porro-1-Prismen-Monokular hat zwei Montagefüße, mit denen es entweder auf ein Blinkgerät als Visier oder auf ein astronomische Fernrohr als Sucher aufgeschraubt wurde. Die Deckelrandbeschriftung mit Nr. 1760990 spräche eher für eine militärische Kennzeichnung und Nutzung. Der dreifach verschraubte obere Deckel ist mit dem Goerz-Logo (Wien) und Nr. 1087 markiert. Das mit Hartgummi überzogene Gehäuse hat eine Trageriemenöse. Die Deckel sind schwarz lackiert; der untere hat nur eine Schraube. Die Optik ist unvergütet. Die umlaufende Dioptrienskala ist bei 0 und +/-5 gekennzeichnet. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff.

The cover rim number 1760990 rather hints to a military number and use. The top cover with its three screws is marked with the Goerz logo (Vienna) and No. 1087. The Ebonite covered housing comes with a strap lug. The cover plates are lacquered black. The bottom cover has only one screw. The optics are uncoated. The full dioptre scale is marked at zero and +/- five. The eyecup is made of synthetic stuff.
