(G. Rüdenberg) "Geroplast" 8x24

Das Geroplast 8x24 Monokular, vermutlich wie alle Geroplast-Modelle von "G. Rüdenberg jun. Hannover" vertrieben (s. Katalogseite unten), wurde von Spindler & Hoyer hergestellt, was an dem typischen S&H-Merkmal, der am Trageriemenöse eingestempelten Seriennummer zu erkennen ist. Die Seriennummer lautet 2132. Der obere schwarz lackierte Deckel ist zweifach verschraubt, der untere dreifach. Das Gehäuse ist mit Leder ummantelt. Das rechtsseitige Okular hat eine Bakelitaugenmuschel (mit einem Schräubchen am Okularrand fixiert) und einen Dioptrienausgleich von + bis - 5 mit umlaufender Skala.

The Geroplast 8x24 monocular, probably sold like all Geroplast models by "G. Rüdenberg jun. Hannover" (see catalog page below), was manufactured by Spindler & Hoyer, which can be recognized by the typical S&H feature, the serial number stamped on the strap lug. The serial number is 2132. The upper black painted cover is screwed twice and the lower one is screwed three times. The housing is covered with leather. The right-hand sided eyepiece has a Bakelite eyecup (fixed to the edge of the eyepiece with a screw) and a diopter adjustment from + to - 5 with a circumferential scale.

Das Geroplast ist 102-110mm lang, oben am Gehäuse 45,5x45,5mm und unten 46x46mm breit. Das Okularstück ist 21,6mm, der Fokussierungsteil 25mm, die Augenmuschel 33mm und die Objektivfassung 29,5mm im Durchmesser. Das 8x24 wiegt 197 g.

The Geroplast is 102-110mm long. The housing measures 45.5x45.5mm at its top and 46x46mm at its bottom. The eyepiece is 21.6mm, the focusing part 25mm, and the eyecup 33mm in diameter. The objective frame has a diameter of 29.5mm. The 8x24 weighs 197g.
