G. Fournier 7x50 "Dianax"

Das von G. Fournier Paris gefertigte 7x50 Porro-1-Monokular mit Modellnamen "Dianax" hat zwar ein rechtsseitiges Okular, wurde aber offensichtlich als Zielkontrollfernrohr gebaut, da es keine Trageöse, aber zwei Montagefüße hat, an die sich eine Halterungsschiene festschrauben lässt. Letztere scheint aufgrund des runden Teils zur Befestigung auf einem Gewehr als Zieleinrichtung oder an einem Stativ zur Treffferkontrolle gedacht zu sein. So ist auch innen eine Gabel-förmige Visiereinrichtung angebracht. Derartig montiert ist Deckelbeschriftung aufrecht lesbar. Das Gehäuse und der Objektivtubus sind mit anthraziten strukturierten Kunstleder ummantelt, die Deckel mit einem strukturierten anthraziten Lack bemalt. Die Dioptrienskala am schwarz lackierten Okularstück ist umlaufend, jedoch ohne Ziffern. Der Fokussierungsteil ist aus Kusntstoff; so auch die Objekitfassung. Die vorhandene Augenmuschel aus Weichgummi passt nicht exakt auf dem Okulargewinde. Zum 7x50 gibt es eine mit schwarzem Papier bezogene Kiste, für das Objektiv eine Lederschutzkappe. Die Optik ist blau vergütet, so dass es sich um ein Nachkriegsprodukt aus den 1950-70er Jahren handeln muss.

Fournier Paris named "Dianax" has a right-hand sided eyepiece, it obviously was made as a sort of spotting scope for target cotnrol, as there is no strap lug, but two feet to attach a mounting rail. This rail has an arched part that may be attached to a gun barrel or to a stand. Also there is a fork-like reticle inside the ocular. Mounted that way the cover plate markings are upright and can be read. The housing and the objective tube have a textured anthracite fake leather covering, the cover plates lacquered with anthracite crinkle paint. The dioptre scale runs all around the ocular, but has no numbers. The focusing part is made of plastic. So is the objective frame. The soft rubber eyecup does not fit exactly the ocular thread. The 7x50 comes with a carrying box covered with black paper, and with a leather cap for the objective. The optics are coated blue, so that the date of production should be between the 1950s and '70s.
