G. Fournier 6x20

Dies ist eine linke Fernglashälfte eines 6x20 G. Fournier Fernglases. Der Deckel trägt das Logo mit Firmenbezeichnung "G. Fournier" und der Nummer 1533. Die dreifach verschraubten Deckel lassen sich ohne Demontage des Okulars oder Objektivs zur Prismenreinigung abnehmen; die Deckel selbst halten die Prismen im Prismenstuhl. Die gleiche Bauweise findet sich bei einigen anderen Ferngläsern wieder (s. Foto 4; z.B. auch Ausstellungstücke in Rathenower Optischen Industrie Museum). Der Okulartubus lässt sich hier auch komplett herausziehen. Die Hälfte wiegt 175g, ist 10cm lang, das lederummantelte Gehäuse 43x43mm breit und 50mm hoch. Die schwarz lackierte Objektivfassung ist 26mm, die Metallaugenmuschel 36mm im Durchmesser.

This is the left half of a 6x20 G. Fournier binoculars . The top coer plate is marked with the Fournier logo and name as well as number 1533. The cover plates have three screws and can be taken off without unscrewing the objective or ocular tube, allowing a quick change or cleaning of the prisms. The prisms are held by the flat cover plates. The same construction can be found for several other binocualrs (s. pic 4, e.g models on display in the Optical Industry museum in Rathenow). The ocular tube can be pulled out completely. The half weighs 17g, it is 10cm in length, the leather covered housing measures 43x43mm in width and is 5cm tall. The black painted objective tube is 26mm, the metal eyecup 36mm in diameter.
