Ein sehr seltenes Monokular des Universalglases Modell "Everest" der Firma Ernemann Werke AG. aus Dresden ist dieses kleine 5x17,5 Monokular mit Porro 1-Prismen und Objektivfokussierung. Die Beschriftung der zweifach verschraubten Deckel geben dies wieder: oben mit dem Modellnamen und den Werten sowie der Seriennummer 925993, unten mit dem Firmennamen gekennzeichnet. Der Korpus ist mit einem strukturierten Hartgummi überzogen und hat eine halbrunde Trageriemenöse, die Kunststoffaugenmuschel hat sich durch Hitze irgendwann verformt. Der Objektivtubus hat einen geriffelten Ring und eine Dioptrieneinstellung von 5/-6 mit Markierungen bei Null und Fünf.

The markings on the covers specify all these data: the top cover bears the model name, specifications and the serial number 925993, the bottom cover is isncribed with the company's name. The body is covered with a textured EBonite and has a semi-circular strap lug. The plastic eyecup was deformed by heat at some time. The objective tube has a knurled ring and a dioptre adjustment ranging from + to - 6 being marked at zero and five.
