Diana 8x30

Das 8x30 Monokular der Marke "Diana" ist ein blau-violett vergütetes Nachkriegsglas. Das auf dem Deckel befindlcihe Logo einer Linse und eines Absehens taucht unter diesem Markennamen auf Ferngläsern auf (s. Foto). Das Monokular mit diesem Markenname könnte von einem Optikvertreiber wie "Seeadler Nürnberg" oder "Optolyth Optik" ("W. Roth GmbH & Co. KG" in Weigendorf-Oed, Bayern - seit 2004 unter Sill-Optik) stammen. Aktuelle Dörr-Gläser werden auch unter diesem Modellnamen vertrieben.
Es hat eine Hartgummiummatnelung, die teilweise schon abgeplatzt ist, einfach verschraubte schwarz lackierte Deckel und eine Kunststoffaugenmuschel. die Dioptrienskala geht von plus bis minus 5.
This 8x30 monocular of the "Diana" trademark is a blueish-violet coated post-war glass. The logo on the top cover shows a lens and a reticle is also used on some binoculars (see pic.). The trademark is probably used by an optical distributor like "Seeadler Nuremberg", "Optolyth Optik" (W. Roth Optik in Weigendorf-Oed, Bavaria - "Sill Optik" since 2004); so does Dörr Optik use the name for their glasses today.
The monocular has a Ebonite covering which partly peeled off, has black paitned cover plates with single screws and a plastic eyecup. The dioptre scale ranges from plus to minus five.
