Hensoldt Dialyt 25x56

Das 25x56 von Hensoldt Wetzlar wurde vor dem Krieg in den 30er Jahren und nach dem Krieg bis in die 60er gebaut. Mit einer Länge von 39-40cm bzw. später 37-38cm ist dieses Dialyt nicht mehr ein handliches Monokular, sondern mehr ein monokulares Fernrohr bzw. Spektiv. Zum wackelfreien Halten ist ein Stativgewinde angeschraubt. Die vorliegenden Seriennummern sind 25531 (vermutlich 1946/47 mit 5sttelliger Nachkriegsnummer) und 957311 (1950er). Die Bauweise entspricht allen anderen Dialyten mit Abbe-König-Prisma. Der Dioptrienausgleich liegt ca. zwischen minus und plus 8 bzw. 7 (beim späteren Nachkriegsmodell gibt es eine Markierung zur schnellen Einstellung auf Unendlich). Das Sehfeld beträgt ca. 30m/1000m. Das erste Modell ist unvergütet, das Nachkriegsmodell ist blau vergütet. Letzteres liegt mit einem Schutzgummiring für das Objektivende vor. Vgl. a. Hensoldt-Prospekte.

The 25x56 by Hensoldt Wetzlar was made in the 1930s before and until the 1960s after WWII. Having a length of 39-40cm and later 37-38cm this Dialyt is not a handheld monocular any more, but rather a monocular telescope or spotting scope. For a steady support it comes with a screwed-on tripod thread. The models shown here have serial numbers 25531 (probably 1946/47 with a 4-digit post-war number) and 957311 (1950s). The design corresponds to all the other later Dialyts with an Abbe-König-Prisma. The dioptre adjustment ranges from minus to plus 8 or 7 (on the later post-war model; it also has a reference dot for a quick adjustment to infinity). The field of view ist about 30m/1000m. The first model is uncoated, the later post-war model has a blue coating. The latter comes with a rubber protection ring on the objective frame. Cf. also Hensoldt/Zeiss-Prospekte.

Bereits der Objektivtubus ist 28cm bzw. 24cm lang. Der Prismtubus misst 7 bzw. 8cm. Der drehbare Okularteil ist 34mm bzw. 40mm lang. Der konische Tubus erweitert sich von der Okularseite zum Objektivende von 37mm auf 62mm bzw. von 42mm auf 62mm im Durchmesser; die Gummischutzring hat einen 73mm Durchmesser. Ohne Schutzkappen wiegt das Dialyt 576g bzw. 628g.

Already the objective tube is 28cm or 24cm long. The prism tube is 7 and 8cm long respectively. The rotatable eyepiece part is 34mm or 40mm long. The conical tube increases from 37mm at the ocular end to 62mm at the objective end, and from 42mm to 62mm in diameter respectively; the rubber ring has a 73mm diameter. The monocular weighs 576g or 628g without protection caps.
