Carl Zeiss Jena Prismen-Teleskop mit AuszügenDieses Prismenteleskop hat eine ungewöhnliche Konstruktionsweise mit einem 5fach ausziehbaren Objektivtubus und einem überdeminsioniert wirkenden Prismenghäuse. Das Prismenteleskop nutzt VEB Zeiss Bauteile, wie den Steckokularadapter, in den die 24mm Okulare passen, die auch beim Asiola verwendet werden. Allerdings ist der Adapter aus Plastik, während die anderen Komponenten aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium sind. Der letzte Objektivauszug sowie das Prismengehäuse sind mit einem geriffelten Gummi überzogen. Eine weiter Baukompoonente ist das 50/540 Objektiv (50mm). Die Optiken sind vergütet. Das runde Porro-2-Prismegehäuse hat am oberen vierfach verschraubten Deckel ein Carl Zeiss Jena Logoschild und am unteren festen Deckel ein "Hergestellt in der DDR" Schild aufgeklebt. Das zweite Schild ist auch mit dem Gütemerkmal "1" im Dreieck gekennzeichnet. Ob die Plastikfassung mit einem Gummiriung zwischen Objektivtubus und Prismengehäuse eine bestimmte Funktion, z.B. für eine Befestigung, hat, ist unbekannt. Ebenfalls bleibt das Produktionsjahr unbestimmt und, ob es sich um ein Versuchsmodell oder um eine angeforderte Konstruktion für eine konkrete Verwendung handelt. Das Fernrohr wurde zusammen in einem rot gefütterten Köcher sowie einem 16-H und 25-H Wechselokular erworben. |
Carl Zeiss Jena Prism Telescope with drawsThis prism telescope has an unusual cosntruction with five draws on the obejctive tube and a round prism housing which seems to be oversized. The prism telescope makes use of VEB Zeiss parts like the eyepiece adapter which holds the 24mm slip-in eyepieces that were alos used with the Asiola. The adapter is made of plastic, whilst the other elements are black painted aluminium parts. The last draw and the prism box are covered with grooved rubber. Another element used is the 50/540 objective (50mm). The optics are coated. The round porro 2 prism housing has a top cover with four screws and a Carl Zeiss Jena logo palte glued to it. The fixed bottom cover bears a "Hergestellt in der DDR" plate (= Made in the GDR) and is marked with the quality sign "1" in a triangle. There is a plastic ring with a rubber ring between the prism housing and the objective tube. Whether this had some mounting function is unknown. Also the year of production and whether this is a prototype or an ordered cosntruction for a special purpose remains uncertain. The spottings cope was purchased with a red cushioned cylindrical case and two eyepieces - 16-H and 25-H. |
