Carl Zeiss 15x50 mit rundem PrismengehäuseDieses Carl Zeiss Jena Monokular mit den Werten 15x50 ist entweder ein Prototyp* oder aus einer unbekannten Kleinserie. Es hat die typische Form eines Porro-2-Glases mit rundem Prismengehäuse und konischen schlanken Objektivtubus. Jedoch hat dieses Glas ein Porro-1-Prismensystem (s. Foto). Das Gehäuse und andere Metallteile sind schwarz lackiert, der Tubus ist mit Hartgummi ummantelt. Der obere Deckel ohne Verschraubung trägt das Zeiss Linsenlogo und die Seriennummer 1862716 sowie die Modellwerte. Wenn die Seriennummer konsistent der Zeiss-Nummerierung folgt, stammt das Monokular aus dem Jahre 1938. |
Carl Zeiss 15x50 with round prism-boxThies Carl Zeiss Jena monocular with 15x50 specifications is either a prototype* or one of a very small unknown series. It has the typical porro 2 prism glass design with a round prism-box and a slender conical obejctive tube. However, this model comes with a porro 1 prism system (see photo). The hosuing and other metal parts are painte black, the objective tube is covered with ebonite. The top cover plate has no screws and is marked with the Zeiss lens logo, optical data as well as the serial number 1862716. Supposed the serial number is consistent to the Zeiss numbering system, this model dates from 1938. |
