Das Copitar DM-50 ist ein 8-20x50 Zoom-Monokular, das sich nach Abschrauben der Metallaugnemsuchel auch als Teleobjektiv an Kameras nutzen lässt (42mm Gewinde). Daher ist am Tubus die Zoomeisntellung auch als Brennweite von 400mm bis 1000mm angegeben. Der gummierte Zoomring befindet sich an der Okularseite, während die Entfernung bzw. Schärfe am Objektivtubus eingestellt wird. Die Skala am Tubus ist mit Meter- und Fußangaben. Es gibt keinFilterggewinde am Objektivende. Die Optik ist blau vergütet.
