Coil 10x23
| Dieses 10x23 Plastikmonokular wurde laut Beschriftung um die Okularlinse herum von C.O.I.L. in England hergestellt. Coil produziert optische Sehhilfen u.a. für Menshcen mit Sehbehinderungen. Vermutlich wurde es als einfaches Demofernrohr oder als Kundengeschenk abgegeben - möglicherweise stammt es aus den 1970er-80er Jahren. Aufgrund des gerignen Gewichts dürfte das Porro -1-Prismensystemn mit Kusntstoffprismen oder Spiegeln gefertigt worden sein. Die Linsen sind ebenfalls aus Plastik. Das Monokular hat eine Objektivfokussierung. Das Plastikgehäuse hat eine dreieckige Grundform mit abgerundeten Kanten. | According to the inscription around the ocular lens this 10x23 plastic monocular was made by C.O.I.L. England. Coil makes optical aids for low vision people. It was probably made as a simple demo telesocpe or as a give-away - maybe dating from the 1970s - 1980s. Because of its low weigth the Porro 1 prism system is amde of plastic prisms or mirrors. The lenses are made of plastic, too. The monocular has an objective focusing. Its housing has a triangular base shape with rounded edges. |
