Bushnell 8x40

Das 340g schwere Bushnell 8x40 Porro-Prismen Monokular wurde in Japan in der typischen Bausch-und-Lomb-Gehäsueform gefertigt, d.h. nur mit einem oberen Deckel und einem ins Gehäuse integrierten Obejktivtubus. Das Monokular ist aus Metall und hat am Gehäsue eine anthrazit-farbene Rauhlackummantelung. Das Okularstück und die Augenmuschel ist ebenso aus Metall und weist einen Dioptrienausgleich von +/-4 auf.
Der äußere Objektivrahmen hat einen Durchmesser von 50mm, das Glas selbst ist 136-141mm lang je nach Okularjustierung. Der (halbkreisförmige) Gehäusedeckel ist ca. 5cm x 6,3 cm.

Die Deckelbeschriftung laute: "Bushnell Triple Tested" in einem Linsenemblem, "Coated Optics Featherlight No. 6070 Japan".

 This Bushnell 8x40 porro prism monocular weighing 340g was made in Japan. It shows the typical Bausch & Lomb body design, i.e. a housing cast in one piece with an integrated objective tube and only one cover. It is fully metal with an anthracite lacquering. The eyepiece and eye-cup – made of metal as well – has a +/-4 dioptre scale.
The outer objective frame is 50mm in diameter. The monocular measures 136-141mm in length depending on ocular adjustment. The semi-circular cover is 5x6.3cm.

The inscription at the cover reads: "Bushnell Triple Tested" within a lens sign, "Coated Optics Featherlight No. 6070 Japan".
