Bushnell 7x35 Featherlight

Ein in Japan gefertigtes (japan. Prüfzeichen vorhanden; No 74186) Bushnell Monokular mit den Werten 7x35. Die Optik ist bläulich vergütet.

Das Bushnell weist die für amerikanische Monos wie bei Wollensak und Bushnell typische Gehäuseform auf: dies ist ein Prismenkorpus aus einen Stück, ohne abnehmbaren Objektivtubus wie bei den Zeiss-typischen Gläsern. An der Okularprismenabdeckung ist die Öse mit Tragriemen angeschraubt. Das Gehäuse ist mit anthrazitfarbenem (grauen) Kunstleder ummantelt.

Der Objektivabdeckring trägt die Beschriftung "Bushnell Featherligh Magnesium • 7 power, 35mm • field of view 8°" in Großbuchstaben.

 The Bushnell shows the body shape typical of American binoculars (rounded one-piece body with objective lens directly screwed in). The strap is screwed to the top prism cover. The body is covered with grey fake leather.

 

Ein anderes, wohl späteres Modell des 7x35 (Ser.nr. 158781) hat am oberen Deckel die Beschriftung "Bushnell Triple Tested" im Logo, und "7x35 Coated Optics Featherlight". Dafür fehlt eine Kennzeichnung am Obejktiv, bzw. dort ist ein Metallener Abdeckring. Es wiegt nur noch 233g, ist 136-142mm lang und 48x89mm breit, der Objektivtubusteil hat einen 63mm Durchmesser. Der passende Lederköcher ist mit "Bushnell triple tested" innerhalb des Emblems graviert. Another, seemingly later model 7x35 (S/N 158781) is marked "Bushnell Triple Tested" within the logo, then "7x35 Coated Optics Featherlight". This is at the top cover, now missing any inscriptions at the objective lens ring. Weight is reduced to 233g. The monocular is 136-142mm tall and 48x89mm wide. The objective tube part is 63mm in diameter. The matching leather case also bears the logo with "Bushnell triple tested" inscription.
