Busch Prisma Monocle "Terlux" 6x

Das frühe Terlux-Prisma-Monocle mit der geringsten Vergrößerung ist das 6x. Da der Augenmuschelrand abgebrochen ist, ist die Vergrößerungskennzeichnung nicht mehr vorhanden. Der Objektivdurchmesser ist 32,5mm. Der nierenförmige dreifach verschraubte Gehäusedeckel ist mit "BUSCH PRISMA-MONOCLE 'TERLUX'" beschriftet. Das Gehäuse ist mit Leder ummantelt. Eine kurze Tageriemenöse ist am oberen Ende des langen schrägen Tubuses zweifach verschraubt. Die 3/3 Augenmuschel hat an der unteren abgechrägten Seite eine Dioptrienskala mit Stricheinteilung von + bis - 4 und Beschriftungen "+ 0 -". Auf dem oberen Deckel wurden auch persönliche Daten eingeritzt, die ich jedoch nicht entziffern kann.

This early Terlux Prisma-Monocle mdoel has the lowest power of the series, ie. 6x. As the eyecup rim is broken off, the magnification engraving is not visisble any more. The objective diameter is 32.5mm. The kidney-shaped cover plate comes with three screws and is isncribed "BUSCH PRISMA-MONOCLE 'TERLUX'". The hosuing is covered with leather. There is a short strap lug fixed with two screws to the top end of the sloping body. The 3/3 eyecup has a dioptre scale ranging from + to - 4 at its sloping bottom end. The dioptre division is only inscribed with "+, -" and "0". The top cover is also scratched with some personal markings, which I cannot decipher.

Das Monokular ist 140 bis 148mm lang und der obere Deckel ist 45x37mm breit, der Objektivtubus ist 45mm im Durchmesser und das schräge Gehäuse misst in der Mitte 43x48mm und ist ca. 48x48 am Objektivende breit. Der Fokussierungsring ist 26mm und der Okulartubus 21mm im Durchmsser. Das Terlux wiegt 244g.

The monocular is 140-148mm long. The top cover plate measures 45x37mm, the objective tube is 45mm in diameter. The housing measures 43x48mm in the middle, and is 48x48mm wide at its obejctive end. The focusing ring is 26mm, and the eypeice is 21mm in diameter. The Terlux weighs 244g.
