Bausch & Lomb 20x60 SchaerspieglerAußer mit einem Dymoband-Aufkleber "R/D Model 3" gibt es keine weitere Bezeichnung auf diesem Instrument. Vermutlich ist es ein Prototyp für eine Schaer-Spiegler, allerdings mit eingebautem Porro-1-Bildumkehrsystem, von Bausch & Lomb (Annahme auch des Verkäufers). R/D könnte für "Research Department" stehen - also Entwicklungsabteilung.Die Konstruktionsweise mit zwei schräg zueinander gestellten Spiegeln (Schaer-System) bedingt ein eher kastenförmiges Gehäuse. Dieses ist aus Kunststoff mit einer grau strukturierten Oberfläche. An einer Gehäusefläche gibt es eine Fokussierungsrolle, die innen eine Porro-1-System zur Schärfeneinstellung hin-und her bewegt. An einer Seite des Metallrahmens ist ein 20x Metallokular angeschraubt, das blau vergütete 60mm Objektiv hat eine 47mm lange vorstehende Fassung, die als Blendschutz dient. Neben dem Okular bzw. Objektiv befinden sich blanke Aludeckel, hinter denen sich die Spiegel befinden. An den schmalen Längsseiten ist ein Stativgewinde sowie zwei Trageriemenösen angebracht. |
Bausch & Lomb 20x60 Schaer ReflectorTere is no other inscription on this instrument but a dymo tape saying "R/D Model 3". It is probably a prototype of a Schaer reflecting system - also having a porro 1 iamge erecting system - made by Bausch & Lomb (seller's assumption). "R/D" may stand for Research Department.The design of two diagonally positioned mirrors (Schaer system) causes a nearly rectangular box ahped hosuing. This hosuing is made of plastic with a grey textured surface. There is a focusing wheel on one side of the body, which moves a porro-1-prism chair to and fro for focusing. On one side of the metal body frame there is a 20x metal eyepiece screwed in. The blue coated 60 objective has a 47mm long protruding tube serving as a sun-shade. Next to the eyepiece and the obejctive respectively a blank aluminium cover protects a mirror. There is a tripod thread and to the opposite two strap lugs on the narrower frame sides. |
