Das Atlantis 10x50 Monokular ist ein typisches Nachkriegs-Porro-1-Prismenmonokular aus japanischer Fertigung mit vergüteter Optik. Der Herstellercode 'JB 24' am unteren Deckel weist es als Monokular der Fa. Ichikawa Kogaku Kogyo Co. Ltd.,Tokyo aus. Der obere Aludeckel trägt die Beschriftung "ATLANTIS", darunter eine plankonkave Linse als logo und die Angaben "10x50, 96.1 m/1000m"; letzteres die Sehfeldbeschreibung. Das Glas ist mit einem strukturiertem Hartgummi ummantelt und hat eine eingegossene Trageöse. Die Dioptrienskala am linksseitigen Okular reicht von +2 bis -3. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff.

The Atlantis 10x50 monocular is a typical post-war porro 1 prism monocular made in Japan with coated optics. The "JB 24" maker's code says that this is a glass by Ichikawa Kogaku Kogyo Co. Ltd.,Tokyo. The upper cover is marked "ATLANTIS", then a logo showing a plain-concave lens and the specifications "10x50, 96.1 m/1000m"; the latter being the field ov view. The glass is covered with a textured hard rubber. It has a cast-in strap lug. The dioptre scale at the left-hand sided ocular ranges from +2 to -3. The eyecup is made of plastic.

Das Monokular wiegt 442g, ist 169 bis 179mm lang bei einer Gehäusebreite von oben 65x65mm und unten 72x72mm. Die Objektivfassung hat einen Durchmesser von 60mm. Der konische Objektivtubus hat innen einen verlängerten Plastikblendschutz aufgeschraubt, der bis kurz vor das Prisma führt.

The monocular weighs 442g, measuring 169mm to 179mm in length, and being 65x65mm wide at the top of its housing or 72x72mm at the bottom respectively. The objective frame is 60mm in diameter. The conical objective tube is prolonged to the inside with a screwed-on plastic ray-shade almost reaching the prism.
