Aquilius 8x25

Das Aquilius 8x25 wurde in Frankreich hergestellt, aufgrund der Vergütung ist auf eine Produktion nach dem 2. Weltkrieg (50er, 60er Jahre( zu schließen. Es ist aus schwarz lackiertem Aluminium mit einer Kunstlederummantelung und einem Plastikokular, wobei der Teil mit der Dioptrienskala (+/- 5) noch aus Metall besteht.
Der obere Deckel ist mit "Aquilius Made in France" in dem Symbol einer achromatischen Linse sowie mit "8x25 coated" beschriftet. Der untere Deckel trägt eine 8-strahlige Sonne mit einem F an einem Strahl.
The Aquilius 8x25 was producef in France – the coating hints to a production after WWII, probably 50s or 60s. It is made of black lacquered aluminium with a fake leather coating, and a platic eye-piece, whereas the dioptre ring is still made of metal. The dioptre adjustment ranges from + to - 5.
The top cover is marked "Aquilius Made in France" in a symbolic achromatic lens, and also inscribed "8x25 coated". The bottom cover has an 8-ray sun withan "F" attached to one ray.

Das 8x25 wiegt 158g bei einer Länge von 100 bis 105mm. Es ist 45x45 bzw. 48x48mm breit. Das Okular hat einen Durchmesser von 38mm. The 8x25 weighs 158g being 100mm to 105mm in length. It is 45x45 or 48x48mm wide. The ocular measures 38mm in diameter.
