Accura 7x40

Foto-Monokular Das Accura 7x40 ist ein Foto-Monokular, welches mit 2 Adapterringen, einer Gegenlichtblende und 2 Schutzkappen in einer Reißverschlusstasche geliefert wurde. Diese hat zwei Stofffächer für das Zubehör und ist mit "Accura" und "Japan" beschriftet. Das Rauhlack ummantelte Gehäuse hat eine eher eckige Form mit einem Stativadapter, die schwarz lackierten Aludeckel sind nicht verschraubt, sondern halten durch das angeschraubte Okular- und Objektivstück. Der obere Deckel ist mit "accura 7x40 9.3° No. 65150" gekennzeichnet. Damit hat das 7x40 ein recht großes Sehfeld, was für die Benutzung an einer Kamera günstig ist. Dies wird durch ein Weitwinkelokular und sehr große porroprismen erreicht. Das drehbare Okularstück dient in der herausgedrehten Stellung als Augenmuschel für den Monokulargebrauch, ganz hereingedreht gibt es das 33mm Gewinde zm Anschrauben in das Kameraobjektiv frei. Der beigelegte "Series VI"-Adapterring ermöglicht die Befestigung an 44mm, der "Series VII"-Adapterring die Befestigung an 54mm Filtergewinden eines Kaneraobjektivs. Die Gegenlichtblende hat ein 53mm Gewinde für das entsprechende Objektivgewinde des Monokulars selbst. Das Objektiv ist auf dem Objektivlinsenhaltering mit "accura Monotel 7xPhoto Monocular Lens Made in Japan" beschriftet .

Telephoto-lens Monocular The Accura 7x40 is a photo monocular which came with two step-up rings, a ray-shade and two protection caps in a zipper case. The latter has two cushioned pockets for the accessories. It is marked "Accura" and "Japan". The housing which is covered with a textured paint has a rather rectangular shape with a tripod thread. The black painted aluminium covers have no screws, but are held only by the ocular and objective tubes, The top cover is marked "accura 7x40 9.3° No. 65150". So, this 7x40 has quite a wide field of view which comes in handy as a camera lens. This is achieved by a wide angle ocular and a huge prisms. The revolving eyepiece works as an eyecup for a monocular when extended to the maximum, and when screwed in it uncovers a 33mm thread to attach at the camera's objective. The "Series VI" adapter allows screwing it to a 44mm filter thread, the "Series VII" adapter allows screwing it to a 54mm filter thread. The rayshade has a 53mm thread. Fitting to that is the objective thread of the monocular. The objective is inscribed with "Accura Monotel 7x Photo Monocular Lens Made in Japan" at the retainer ring.

Wie üblich wird bei dem Fotomonokular durch Drehen des Objektivtubus' fokussiert. Dieser ist zur Orientierung mit Angabe von 9 bis 150 Fuß bzw. unendlich markiert. Die Länge des Monokulars beträgt 130mm bis 148mm je nach Einstellungen. Mit der Sonnenblende erhöht sich die Länge um 28mm. Mit einem Gewicht von 503g ist es recht schwer und benötigt deshalb beim Kameragebrauch auch die Stabilisierung auf einem Stativ. Der Okulartubus ist 38mm, der Drehring 43mm, der Objektivtubus 47mm und der Fokussierungsring 53mm im Durchmesser. Die Maße des Gehäuses sind: HxBxT 67x81x58mm. Das Gesamtgewicht mit Tasche und Zubehör ist 683g.

As usual focusing is done by turning the objective tube. It is marked with distances in feet starting with "9" and finishing at "150" feet or infinity respectively. The length of the monocular is 130mm to 148mm depending on adjustment. The rayshade adds another 28mm. It is quite heavy weighing 503g. So you need a tripod for steady use. The ocular tube is 38mm, the grooved ring 43mm, the objective tube 47mm and the focusing part 53mm in diameter. The housing measures: 67x81x58mm. The overall weight with carrying case and accessories is 683g.
