Wray 20x60 Prismscope

The prism telescope is a post-war production by Wray London. It has a blue coating, an extendable ray shade and a tripod thread. It consists of two cylindrical bodies, one contains the prism chair with porro 1 prisms, and the other is the objective tube. They are attached together in an offset way. There is a focusing wheel at the bottom of the prism housing. It is inscribed "INF -->" twice, thus pointing at the direction to adjust to infinity. The prism housing is also marked "Prismscope Wray London No. 200694" at its side, and inscribed "Wray" in an oval at the top. The objective tube only increases near the end, finally having a straight part with an extendable ray shade. The eyepiece can be unscrewed. There is a glass at the opening protecting dust to come in. You can screw different eyepieces into the ocular tube – a 20x eyepiece is in place here. It is marked "20x60 Wray London". The ocular tube again has a threaded end to hold a protection cap. Someone cut a self-made rubber eyepiece for the depicted model.

The Wray 20x60 weighs 1018g. It is 40cm long.
