Vogitländer 8x (20)

Aus der 2. Serie der Voigtländer Monokulare stammt dieses 8x20 Porro-1-Modell. Es ist mit Druckbuchstaben beschriftet und trägt die Nummer 10093, sowie die Angabe "8x". Es wurde vor dem 1. Weltkrieg produziert. Die Form des Aluminiumgehäuses entspricht ungefähr der dreieckigen Grundform der frühen Busch-Monokulare. Das Gehäuse ist lederummantelt und hat eine angeschraubte kurze Trageriemenöse. Die Deckel sind schwarz lackiert und dreifach verschraubt. Das linksseitige Okularstück hat eine Dioptrienskla von plus bis minus Fünf und eine Bakelitaugenmuschel. This porro 1 model belongs to the second series of monoculars. It is marked in block letters. It has serial number 10093 as well as "8x". It was made before WWI. The housing's shape is almost the same as those of the triangular base of the early Busch glasses. The housing is covered with leather and has a short screwed-on strap lug. The covers are lacquered black and have three screws. The left-hand sided eyepiece has a dioptre scale ranging from plus to minus five. The eyecup is made of Bakelite.
