Vogitländer 9x (20)

Das 9x Monokular von Voigtländer & Söhne, Braunschweig ist hier mit Seriennummer 1907 und verschnörkelter Schrift "Voigtländer & Söhne Braunschweig" und mit serifenloser Druckschrift und Seriennummer 4422 abgebildet. Da erste Modell dürfte am frühen Anfang des 20 Jh., das zweite noch vor dem 1. Weltkrieg gefertigt worden sein. Die Deckel sind schwarz lackiert und dreifach verschraubt. Der Dioptrienausgleich reicht von plus bis minus 5. Die Markierungen und Beschriftungen sind beim ersten Modell der geschwungenen Schrift des Deckels angepasst. Am unteren Ende des drehbaren Okulars ist ein geriffelter Rand. The 9x Monocular by Voigtlaender & Sons, Brunswick has got the is depicted here with S/N 1907 and "Voigtländer & Söhne Braunschweig" in cursive script as well as with S/N 4422 and sans serif font. The first variant dates from about 1900-1902, the second still dates from the time before WWI. The cover plates are painted black and got three screws. The dioptre adjustment ranges from plus to minus 5 being marked in a cursive script style as well. At the lower end of the dioptre ring is a milled rim.

Es ist teils aus Aluminium, teils aus Messing hergestellt. Das Gehäuse ist lederummantelt und hat eine angeschraubte Trageöse beim zweiten Modell. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Bakelit mit einem Durchmesser von 32mm. Das Okularstück ist 18mm im Durchmesser. Das Glas wiegt ca. 165g und ist 106-113mm lang. Das Gehäuse missst oben und unten ca. 45x45mm. Der Objektivring ist 24mm im Durchmesser mit einer 20mm Linse. It is partly made of aluminium and brass. The housing is covered with leather and the second model has a screwed on brass strap with lug. The eyecup is made of Bakelite, having a 32mm diameter. The eyepiece is 18mm in diameter.
