Sirius 3x17

Das 3x17 Monokular mit rundem schwarz lackiertem Gehäuse und einem Porro-II-Prismensystem wurde als Paar an einem Steroe-Stereoskop benutzt. Daher ist der seitlich zwemit 2 Schrauben befestigte DEckel des einen Monokulars mit "Sirius", der des anderen mit "x3 Stereo Magnifier" beschriftet. Die Objektivfassungen haben ein Gewinde, an denen ein blanker Aluminiumring geschraubt ist, mit dem wiederum die Monokulare in die Halterung es Stereoskops gesteckt werden können. Die Objektivlinse selbst ist mit einem Schraubring fixiert. dies könnte z. B. eine Fassung und Stereoskop von "E. Esdaile & Sons Pty. Ltd." aus Sydney sein. Die Okulare haben Kunststoffaugenmuschel, einen Plus-geriffelten Fokussierungsteil, aber keine Dioptrienskala.

The 3x17 monocular, with its round, black-lacquered housing and Porro II prism system, was used as a pair on a stereoscope. Therefore, the cover of one monocular, fixed to the sides of the body with two screws, is labeled "Sirius," and the other "x3 Stereo Magnifier." The lens mounts have a thread, to which a bare aluminum ring is screwed, which in turn allows the monoculars to be inserted into the stereoscope mount.
