W. & H. Seibert Fernrohrlupe

Die Firma Wilhelm und Heinrich Seibert aus Wetzlar wurde 1885 gegründet und existierte bis in den 2. Weltkrieg. Die hier abgebildete Seibert Fernrohrlupe könnte aus der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jh. stammen.
Es hat einen schwarz lackierten Okulartubus mit der Beschriftung "W. & H. Seibert Wetzlar" in einem Linsenlogo. Mit beiden Teilen als Teleskop erreicht die Optik eine 3,5fache Vergrößerung, als Lupe mit dem silber-matten Metallobjecktivtubus wird eine 6fache Vergrößerung erzielt. Der Objektivtubus hat einen geriffelten Rand und innen liegend eine Gesichtsfeldblende.
Die Fernrohrlupe wiegt 32g, ist 30 bis ca. 47mm lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 19,3mm am Okulartubus. Die Augenmuschel ist 24,5mm, die Objektivfassung 22mm im Durchmesser.

W. & H. Seibert Telescope Magnifier

Makers Wilhelm and Heinrch Seibert from Wetzlar wwas founded 1885 and still worked around 1945. The telescopic magnifier depicted here could date from the first half of the 20th century.
It has a black lacquered ocular tube inscribed "W. & H. Seibert Wetzlar" in a lens logo. With both poarts as a telescope its amgnification is about 3.5 times. As a magnifier with the solid metal objective tube only it achieves a 6 times magnification, The objective tube has a knurled end ring and a diaphragm inside.
The telscope magnifier weighs 32g, is 30 to c. 47mm long and has a diameter of 19.3mm at its ocular tube. The eyecup is 24.5mm, the objective frame 22mm in diameter.
