Oigee 40x60

Das Oigee 40x60 hat im runden Prismengehäuse ein Porro-II-Prismensystem. Der Deckel ist mit dem Oigee-Linsenlogo ohne Ortsangabe und mit "Made in Germany" beschriftet. Die Optik ist blau vergütet. Das Spektiv wurde daher nach 1945 in dem westdeutschen Oigee-Werk in Osterode hergestellt. Die Objektivlinse ist mit einem Luftspalt versehen, der durch drei dünne Aluplättchen erreicht wird. Der konische Haupttubus, die Gabelstativhalterung an diesem und das Prismengehäuse sind mit einem grau-schwarzen Hammerschlaglack lackiert, während die anderen Metallteile mit einem mattschwarzen Lack lackiert sind. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Kunststoff. Es gibt keinen Dioptrienskala, lediglich eine korrespondierende Nulllinie am Okularstück und dem abgeschrägten Ring am kreuzgeriffelten Fokussierungsteil.

The Oigee 40x60 has a Porro II prism system housed within a round prism casing. The cover is inscribed with the Oigee lens logo—without a specific location—and the text "Made in Germany." The optics are coated blue. Hence, this spotting scope was made after 1945 at the West German Oigee factory in Osterode. The objective lens incorporates an air gap, maintained by three thin aluminum spacers. The tapered main tube, its attached fork-style tripod mount, and the prism housing are finished in a grey-black hammer paint, while the remaining metal components are coated in matte black lacquer. The eyecup is made of plastic. There is no diopter scale; instead, alignment is indicated solely by a corresponding zero line on the eyepiece sleeve and on a beveled ring on the cross-knurled focusing mechanism.

Das 40x60 wiegt 1019g und ist 400-410mm lang. Das 37mm lange Prismengehäuse ist 77mm, der 335mm lange Haupttubus 49,5mm bis 71mm im Durchmesser, das Okularstück 26mm, der Fokussierungsteil 33mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser.
