Oigee 3x13,5

Das kleinste Monokular der "Oigelet"-Reihe von Oigee ("Optische Industrie Gesellschaft Berlin", später "Optische Anstalt Berlin") ist das 3x13,5. Es ist ein Porro-1-Glas mit Hartgummiummantelung, schwarz lackierten, dreifach verschraubten Deckeln, einer Kunsstoffaugenmuschel sowie einer Dioptrienskal (+/-2) an dem rechtsseitigem Okular, aber ohne Trageriemenöse. Es gibt keine Seriennummer, nur das Firmenlogo, aber nur mit "Oigee" und ohne "Berlin". Es stammt entweder aus den 1920-30er Jahren und war ggf. mit Vorsatzlinse und Stativ als Fernrohrlupe gedacht, oder es stammt aufgrund der Beschriftung ohne "Berlin" aus dem Osteroder Werk (Harz Geb.) kurz vor dem 2. Weltkrieg oder um 1948 als die Werke dort wieder aufmachten (vgl. Oigee 20x50 - made in W-Germany). Letzteres scheint sich durch die Verwendung des Oigee 3x als Sucher für die Robotkamera zu bestätigen. Die vorhandenen 2 Flachkopfschrauben am oberen Deckel unterscheiden sich von der 3. Rundkopfschraube nahe des Okulars. Bei einem späteren Funktionsumwidmung ohne Kamerschuh-Adapter könnten die beiden Halterungsschrauben für den Deckel genutzt worden sein.

The smallest monocular from the "Oigelet" series by Oigee ("Optische Industrie Gesellschaft Berlin", later "Optische Anstalt Berlin") is the 3x13.5 model. It is a Porro I glass with an Ebonite covering and black lacquered cover plate with three screws. The right-hand sided eyepiece has a plastic eyecup and a dioptre scale ranging from + to - two. There is no strap lug. The cover is only marked with "Oigee" in the company's logo, but without "Berlin". There is no serial number. It dates either from 1920-30x and was probably meant as a monocular magnifier when equipped with a close-up lens and a stand, or because of the missing "Berlin" from the Works in Osterode (Harz Mts.) shortly before WWII. or about 1948 when the works reopened (cf. Oigee 20x50 - made in W-Germany). The latter seems to hold true as it was also used as a 3x finder for Robot cameras. The present two pan-head screws on the upper cover differ from the third filister head screw next to the eyepiece. Bei einem späteren conversion without the camera shoe adapter the two screws fropm the adapter plate could hav e been used to fix the cover.

Das Monokular wiegt nur 59g und ist 62-67mm lang. Das Gehäuse ist oben und unten 35,5x35,5mm breit. Die Objektivfassung ist 17mm, das Okularstück 16mm, der Fokussierungsteil 22mm und die Augenmuschel 29mm im Durchmesser

The monocular weighs only 59g, and it is 62-67mm long. The straigth housing measures 35.5x35.5mm. The objective frame is 17mm, the eyepiece 16mm, the focusing ring 22mm, and the eyecup 29mm in diameter.
