Monoscope (15x 20x 30x 40x 60mm)

Das "Monoscope" mit einem Okularrevolver mit 4 Okularen wurde in Japan (s. am Karton) ca. zwischen 1960 und 1980 hergestellt. Das am unteren Deckel des Prismengehäuses eingeprägte Logo ist zwar nur schwer zu erkennen, sieht aber wie das der Firma "Omori Sogo Kogaku Kogyo Co. Ltd." aus. Das Spektiv hat ein grau lackiertes Aluminiumgehäuse mit einem ausziehbarem Blendschutz und Objektivkappe aus Metall. Zwischen dem konischen Objektivtubus und dem Porro-1-Prismengehäuse befindet sich ein Fokussierungsring mit teils schwarzer Lackierung und blanken Alustellen. Die vergütete Optik hat ein 60mm Objektiv und vier Okulare mit 15x, 20x, 30x und 40x Vergrößerung. Das 15x-Okular ist außer mit den optischen Werten mit "Japan" und "MONOSCOPE COATED M-3 No. 32517" beschriftet.

The "Monoscpe" with its ocular revolver and four eyepieces was made in Japan (s. cardboard box label) between about 1960 and 1980. The logo engraved at the bottom plate of the prism housing is hard to see, but looks like the one of "Omori Sogo Kogaku Kogyo Co. Ltd.". The spotting scope has a grey painted aluminium body with an extendable sun-shade and a metal lens cap. There is a focusing ring between the conical tube and the porro 1 prism housing. It is partly lacquered black and partly polished. The coated optics have a 60mm objective lens and four oculars with 15x, 20x, 30x, and 40x magnification. The 15x ocular is marked with "Japan" and "MONOSCOPE COATED M-3 No. 32517" besides its optical specifications.

Das Monoscope hat ein ebenfalls graues höhenverstellbares Leichtmetallstativ mit Klemmvorrichtung für das Spektiv. Ohne Stativ wiegt es 1178g. Das 22-35cm hohe Stativ wiegt ca. 540g. Je nach genutztem Okular ist das Spektiv 36 - 38cm lang; bei ausgezogenem Blendschuzt ist es noch einmal 55mm länger. Der Blendschutz bzw. das gerade Objektivstück ist 88mm lang und hat einen Durchmesser von 73mm. Der konische Tubusteil verjüngt sich auf 43mm. Der Fokussierungsring hat einen 53mm Durchmesser. Das oben geschlossene und gerundete Prismengehäuse misst oben ca. 62x60mm und unten 70x63mm. Der Okularrevolver ist 31mm hoch und 82mm im Durchmesser. Die kleineren Okulare sind 21mm im Durchmesser, die großen 23mm; deren Sockel ist jeweils 26mm, das Gwinde 23mm im Durchmesser. die Okulare sind 21,7mm, 25mm, 38,7mm und 44,7mm lang.

The monoscope also has a grey painted tripod with a scope clamp made of light metal. Without tripod the spotting scope weighs 1178g; the tripod adds 540g to it. The tripod can be adjusted in height btween 22 to 35cm. Depending on the ocular used, zthe scope is 36-38cm in length; with the sun-shade extended it is up to 43.5cm long. The sun-shade or the straight objective tube part measures 88mm with a 73mm diameter. The conical part decreases to 43mm. The focusing ring again is 53mm in diameter. The prism housing has no top cover plate but has a rounded shoulder; at the top it is about 62x60mm wide, and 70x63mm at its bottom. The ocular revolver is 31mm tall and 82mm in diameter. The smaller oculars have a 21mm diameter, the bigger ones 23mm. All the bases of the oculars measure 26mm, the threads 23mm in diameter. They are 21.7mm, 25mm, 38.7mm und 44.7mm long.
