ZOMZ MP20x60

Das 20x60 Monokuilar stammt aus der UdSSR Zeit (70er/80er Jahre). Die Modellbezeichnung ist "MP" (kyrillisch: МП – sprich MP - Monokular prismatisch)und das ZOMZ-Symbol, das an einen Augapfel mit Strahlengang erinnert (s.u.). Es hat einen Alu-Körper mit aufgerauhter schwarzer Lackierung, die eine Lederstruktur imitiert. Am Objektivende befindet sich ein silberner Zierring. Die Augenmuschel ist aus Plastik. Der Dioptrienausgleich ist lediglich mit +, - und Null markiert (Bereich +5 bis -5). Es hat einen Ledertrageriemen.
Ein weiteres trägt am oberen Deckel auch ein Logo mit Stern und "CCCP" in einem Pentagon. Ein vermutlich späteres Exemplar (Exportmodell) ist mit "Made in Russia" und Beschriftung in lateinischen Buchstaben. Während die kyrillisch beschriftetetn Modelle eine Deckelschraube haben, hat das "MAde in Russia" Modell keine Deckelschrauben.
The 20x60 Monocular dates from USSR times (70s/80s Jahre?). The model name is "MP" (Cyrillic: МП – pronounce MP - monocular prismatic), and there is the ZOMZ logo that resembles an eyeball with a light path (s. below). It has a aluminium body with a leather textured black finish. At the pobjective end is a silver ring for decoration. The eyecup is made of plastic. The dioptre scale is only marked by +, - and zero (ranges from +5 to -5). It comes with a leather strap.
Another specimen is also marked with a logo with a star and "CCCP" within a pentagon. Still a further, probably later model (export) is inscribed with "Made in Russia" and Latin text.

Das Porro-I-Prismenmonokular wiegt 668g. Das Sehfeld beträgt 62 auf 1000m. Die Gesamtlänge ist 26cm. Der Prismenkörper ist 6x6cm und der Objektivtubus hat einen Durchmesser von 73mm am äußeren Ende. Die Optik ist rot-violett vergütet.
