BBT Krauss 16x50

Das BBT Krauss 16x50 ist blau vergütetes Porro-1-Monokular mit konischem Objektivtubus aus den 1950-60er Jahren. Die schwarz lackierten Deckel sind einfach verschraubt. Die Augenmuschel am linksseitigen Okular ist aus Plastik, die Dioptrienskala geht von + bis - 3. Der obere Deckel ist mit "BBT Krauss" im Firmenlogo und darunter bogenförmig mit "Made in France" beschriftet. Rechts davon befindet sich das Gütezeichen für französische Gläser - Dreicek, darin eine Sonne mit Strahlen, am oberen Strahl ein F. Der untere Deckel ist im Logo mit der Modellnummer "M 312-43" und Seriennummer 183156, darunter "16x50" gekennzeichnet. Bei einem weiteres bekannten Modell mit der S/N 195500 ist das Gütezeichen links vom Logo angebracht und unter dem Logo nur mit "France" beschriftet.

This BBT Krauss 16x50 is a blueish-magenta coated Porro I monocular with a concial objective tube. The black painted cover plates have only one screw. The eyecup at the left-hand sided ocular is made of plastic – the dioptre scale ranges from + to - three. The top cover is marked "BBT Krauss" within the maker's logo and "Made in France" below in a curved alignment. The French quality sign is engraved right off the logo. The sign depicts a trinagle with sunrays insdie having an F as one ray. The bottom cover is marked with the logo and the model number "M 312-43" as well as the serial number 183156, followed by "16x50". A further known specimen with the serial number 195500 comes with the quality sign left off the logo, and only "France" below it.

Das 16x50 ist 200-207mm lang, das Gehäuse oben 62x62mm und unten 68x68mm breit. Der 78mm lange Objektivtubus verbreitert sich von 54 mm auf 65mm. Die Objektivfassung ist 64 mm im Durchmesser. Das Okularstück ist 30mm, der Fokussierungsteil 38mm und die Augenmuschel 35mm im Durchmesser. Das 16x50 wiegt 542g.
