Hensoldt 6x24 Grossfeld (ver. 2)

Das "Grossfeld" Modell 6x24 wurde von Hensoldt ab ca. 1928 bis ca. 1940 gebaut. Auf dem oberen Deckel ist ein Sehfeld von 160m angegeben, somit handelt es sich um die 2. Variante ab 1933 mit etwas größerem Sehfeld als zuvor (150m). Dieses 6x24 dürfte zwischen 1933 und 1936 gefertigt worden sein. Der untere Deckel trägt das Firmenlogo und die Seriennummer 351721. Beide Deckel sind jeweils nur mit einer Schraube befestigt. Es ist ein typisches Porro-1-Prismenmonokular mit Hartgummiummantelung, schwarzer Lackierung und einem Okular mit Dioptrienausgleich - gekennzeichnet bei 0 und +/-5 - und einer Plastikaugenmuschel. Die Trageriemenöse ist am Korpus eingegossen. Das 6x24 wiegt 167g, ist 103-113mm lang und die Objektivfassung ist 34mm, das Okularstück 30,5mm, der kreuzgeriffelte Fokussierungring 35mm und die Augenmuschel 34mm im Durchmesser.

The "Grossfeld" (wide field of view) 6x24 model was made by Hensoldt since about 1928 until c.1940. The top cover plate states a field of view of 160m. Hence it is the second variant since 1933 with a slightly wider f.o.v. of 160 than before (150).This 6x24 was made between 1933 and 1936. The bottom cover bears the company logo and the serial number 351721. Both cover plates are fixed with only one screw. The 6x24 is a typical Porro I prism monocular with an Ebonite covering, black painted parts, and an eyepiece with a dioptre adjustment marked at 0 and +/-5, and a plastic eyecup. There is a cast-in strap lug. The 6x24 weighs 167g and it is 103-113mm long. The objective frame measures 34mm, the right-hand sided eyepiece 30.5mm, the corss-knurled focusing part 35mm, and the eyecup 34mm in diameter.

The elatehr case is stamped with the Hensoldt logo on the top front side.
