Goerz 6x "Motribus" Trieder-Monocle

Nach den Seriennummern "23180" und "73336" stammen diese 6x Monokulare von ca. 1901 und vom Ende 1904. Im Katalog hat es den Modellnamen "Motribus". Der Objektivlinsendurchmesser ist bei ersten 15mm, beim zweiten Modell 20mm. Die Vergrößerungsangabe ist nur beim 2. Exemplar als "6x" in die braune Lederummantelung gestanzt. Dieses hat auch am Deckelrand eine Sicherungsschraube für die Ojektivfassung. Die Vulkanitaugenmuscheln haben keine Dioptrienskalen, obwohl die Okulare Drehokulare sind. Die dreifach verschraubten Aluminiumdeckel sind schwarz lackiert und sind oben mit dem Firmennamen und unten mit der Seriennummer beschriftet. Oben an den Gehäusen ist an einer Seite eine Trageöse eingelassen. Die Objektivfassungen sind aus Messing. The objective lens aperture of the first specimen is 16mm, and 20mm respectively for the second model. The latter also comes with a securing svrew for the obejctive frame on the cover plate rim. The brown leather covering of the second model only is stamped with the magnification "6x" on one side. The Ebonite eyecups have no dioptre scales, although focusing is done by turning the ocular. The black lacquered aluminium cover plates have three screws. The top one is marked with the maker's name, the bottom one is marked with the serial number. There is a strap lug cast-in at the top end side of the housing. The objective frames are made of brass.
